Seoul Human Resources Development Committee and Seo Jeong-hyeop Join Hands to Create 'Customized Jobs'
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] The Seoul Human Resources Development Committee announced on the 16th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for joint research with the District Administration Research Support Center under the Seoul Institute.
This MOU focuses on creating 'customized jobs' suitable for the regional characteristics and industries of 25 basic local governments within Seoul Metropolitan City. Each participating basic local government will publish research reports on local employment issues, form a network council, and collaborate on discovering region-specific job projects.
The Seoul Human Resources Development Committee is a representative organization of labor, management, and public-private sectors aimed at customized workforce training and job creation support for Seoul's regions and industries. Woo Tae-hee, Executive Vice President of the Seoul Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Seo Jeong-hyeop, Acting Mayor of Seoul Metropolitan City and First Deputy Mayor for Administration, serve as co-chairpersons.
At the MOU signing ceremony held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, No Geum-gi, Secretary General of the Seoul Human Resources Development Committee, and Shin Min-cheol, Director of the District Administration Research Support Center under the Seoul Institute, attended.

No Geum-gi, Secretary General of the Seoul Human Resources Development Committee, said, "This is the first case among the 17 regional human resources development committees nationwide to collaborate with a basic local government district administration research group," adding, "It will be a great opportunity to strengthen job creation and research capabilities of basic local governments."
