Accordingly, when the Public Institution Management Committee of the Ministry of Economy and Finance meets next week, the proposal to dismiss Gu is expected to be discussed.
A Ministry of Land official said, "We have sent the dismissal recommendation regarding President Gu to the Ministry of Economy and Finance," but added, "It is difficult to disclose detailed reasons."
Recently, the Ministry of Land launched an audit after multiple allegations against President Gu surfaced through the media. Although the final results have not yet been released, it is reported that numerous issues were identified, and these allegations appear to be the cause.
President Gu is suspected of abuse of power, as he allegedly suspended an employee who claimed to have been unfairly treated in personnel matters.
