Gwangju City to Hold 'Eco-friendly Vehicle Online Job Fair' Until the 25th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 15th that it is holding an "Eco-friendly Vehicle Online Job Fair" to support excellent local automobile parts companies experiencing labor shortages due to COVID-19 and local youth seeking employment.
The online job fair, which started the day before, is already receiving great attention.
Prior to the fair, the pre-opening homepage for the online job fair, which was established and operated from the 14th of last month to the 13th of this month, recorded over 3,600 visits in one month, and on the first official day, the number of visits reached 632.
A total of 85 local automobile parts companies are participating in this fair and will conduct non-face-to-face video interviews through the homepage until the 25th.
Additionally, employment support programs related to recruitment, such as employment incentives, Youth Tomorrow Savings, youth transportation allowances, and Dream Allowance, are also introduced to support both employers and job seekers.
Moreover, an event is being held for participants of the online fair, giving various gifts to about 530 people.
Gwangju City expects additional participation from companies with new recruitment plans in the future.
