Public Shopping, Sales Soar with 'Raensansikgu' Together
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Public Shopping announced on the 15th that its newly launched 'Raenseon Sikgu' (Online Family) is receiving a positive response in the untact era.
Raenseon Sikgu is one of the new broadcasting methods introduced every Tuesday on Public Shopping's domestic agricultural and livestock products exclusive program, 'TV Hanaro Mart.' Consumers who have expressed their intention to participate in advance receive the products before the broadcast, try them beforehand, and then join the live broadcast with the show host through a large media wall screen.
So far, the two broadcasts featuring 'Raenseon Sikgu' have both sold out. The broadcast on the 25th of last month, which introduced Uiseong Jinhwangdo peaches, sold about 4,000 sets (order amount of 140 million KRW). The broadcast on the 1st of this month, selling the same product, recorded an early sell-out by selling more than 4,100 sets (order amount of 150 million KRW) within 38 minutes of the 1-hour broadcast.
The next Raenseon Sikgu broadcast will be held at 5:40 PM on the same day on TV Hanaro Mart, themed 'Gyulrojangsaeng Jeju Hwanggeumhyang' (Jeju Golden Hyang Tangerines for Longevity).

Park Jeonghwan, head of the Public Broadcasting Production Office, said, “We will develop Raenseon Sikgu as a good example of ‘multi-communication’ where producers, production staff, and consumers communicate together,” adding, “We will further expand the number of participants in Raenseon Sikgu and increase the ‘family’ by connecting not only customers but also producers in the production areas.”
