Haitai Confectionery Launches Limited Edition ‘Oh Yes Cold Blue’ for Fall Season
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Haitai Confectionery announced on the 15th that it will launch 'Oh Yes Cold Brew' as a limited product for the autumn season. It differentiated itself from products that use only powder or flavor to mimic coffee taste by including cold brew concentrate.
The cold brew concentrate is supplied by Ediya, a domestic coffee franchise company. It is characterized by a clean taste and rich aroma, brewed drop by drop in cold water. Being decaffeinated, it can be enjoyed without concerns about caffeine.
Koreans have a unique love for coffee. Even in a social network service (SNS) survey conducted before the product launch, coffee overwhelmingly received support as the flavor for the contemplative autumn season. Although the cost is relatively high, cold brew was chosen as it best matches the premium cake Oh Yes's luxuriousness.
The sweetness of the chocolate is balanced, and the cold brew aroma subtly rises. Additionally, the concentrate is mixed from the dough stage, adding moisture to Oh Yes's 20% water content. The vanilla white cream pairs with the black-toned cake, making it even more sophisticated.
