Busan Bank Opens Ilgwang Branch in Gijang-gun
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] BNK Busan Bank announced on the 14th that it has established the Ilgwang Branch in Ilgwang-myeon, Gijang-gun, Busan, to streamline sales channels in the eastern Busan area and create new growth engines.
The Ilgwang Branch is located in the Ilgwang District (Ilgwang New Town), a large-scale housing site in Busan. Nearby are five industrial complexes including Jang-an Industrial Complex and the adjacent Jeonggwan New Town. Additionally, 10,000 new apartment units and neighborhood shopping centers within 35 plots in the central commercial area are under development.
Busan Bank plans to expand community-based financial services along with stable asset growth by operating retail branches that cover both individuals and small businesses in this area, where demand for apartment and commercial building-related financial services is continuously increasing.
