The adhesive thermometer can be attached to the skin for quick and easy temperature checks, allowing for easy detection of fever symptoms, and is expected to help with preventive measures as an essential item for COVID-19.
The donated items will be delivered to the Shinan-gun Welfare Foundation and provided to 1,300 elderly living alone aged 65 and over.
Governor Park Woo-ryang said, "We deeply appreciate the support for local residents despite the difficult conditions caused by COVID-19," and added, "We will do our best in quarantine and safety without letting our guard down so that the residents can live with peace of mind from COVID-19."
