One Overseas Entrant Confirmed COVID-19 Positive in Jeonju

On the 14th, Jeonbuk Province announced that a student A (male, in his 20s), who departed Istanbul Airport on Turkish Airlines flight TK090 on the 12th and arrived at 5 p.m. the same day, was finally confirmed positive by the Jeonbuk Institute of Health and Environment.
After arriving at Incheon Airport on the 12th, A arrived in Jeonju at 7:25 p.m. by a dedicated bus for overseas entrants, and following quarantine guidelines for overseas entrants, he was tested at the Jeonju Public Health Center and was under self-quarantine.
At 7:40 p.m. on the 13th, A received the final confirmed diagnosis from the Jeonbuk Institute of Health and Environment.
The quarantine authorities classified A as the 100th confirmed case in Jeonbuk, completed disinfection of his residence and vehicle, and requested the Incheon Quarantine Station to investigate contacts inside the aircraft and at the airport.
