NS Home Shopping Food PB Business Expansion Begins Premium Meat Home Meal Replacement Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] NS Home Shopping announced on the 14th that it has launched the first product of its premium ready-to-eat meal brand "MeatUs," which it applied for to expand its food business with private brand (PB) products.
NS Home Shopping has positioned the food business as a new growth engine for its future business, expanding its PB products from health functional foods to ready-to-eat meals. The brand name MeatUs carries the meanings of meeting, happiness, family, and our food. MeatUs will develop premium ready-to-eat meal (HMR) products going forward. The products will be lined up to align with the business structure that claims a stable supply of agricultural, fishery, and livestock products and the business purpose of contributing to the development of agriculture, fishery, and livestock industries.
The first product, "Hanwoo Hanmari Oxtail Soup," was created in partnership with the "National Hanwoo Association." Accordingly, an OEM production contract for PB products was signed with the agricultural corporation Vision Food to manufacture the product. MeatUs products can be found not only on NS Home Shopping's TV home shopping, mobile app, shopping book, and T-commerce channels but also through various distribution and sales channels.
