Magnitude 2.4 Earthquake North of Chilgok, Gyeongbuk... "No Damage Expected"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.4 occurred at 1:31:05 PM on the 12th, 4 km north of Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province.
The epicenter was located at 36.03°N latitude and 128.40°E longitude, with a depth of 15 km. The instrumental intensity of the earthquake reached a maximum of 2 in Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, and Daegu. An instrumental intensity of 2 means that only a few people on the upper floors of buildings or those in quiet places can feel it.
