Gwangyang City Assigns Road Name Addresses to 34 Public Restrooms in the Area
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang City announced that it will assign road name addresses to public restrooms within the jurisdiction that are installed as standalone buildings but do not have addresses, so that their locations can be easily identified in case of emergencies by November.
Among the 186 public restrooms in the jurisdiction, 34 locations without road name addresses have been difficult to locate, causing challenges in requesting rescue during emergencies.
The city plans to secure accurate location information for these 34 public restrooms, assign road name addresses by the end of this month, and attach building number plates by the end of next month. It will also provide data to portal sites and navigation companies to enable precise and convenient location guidance.
