Online Market 'Idus' Opens Offline Store in Guro Branch
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Backpacker (CEO Kim Dong-hwan), which operates the online handmade market 'Idus,' announced on the 11th that it has opened an offline store, 'Idus Store Guro Branch,' on the first floor of NC Department Store Shinguro Branch.
The newly opened Idus Store is the third offline store following Ssamziegil and Lotte Mall Suji Branch. It was established to showcase a variety of handmade works to consumers and to support promotional activities for artists featured on Idus.
At Idus Store Guro Branch, works by about 120 artists are exhibited, and more than 2,000 diverse products including handcrafted accessories, fashion items, children's goods, living items, and handmade food are sold at reasonable prices. Unique products that only handmade items can offer will be continuously introduced according to seasons and events.
Currently, Idus has about 20,000 artists featured online, offering approximately 270,000 products ranging from various handicrafts and handmade foods to agricultural, livestock, and marine products. Four million customers use the service monthly, and the monthly transaction amount has exceeded 17 billion KRW.
