KAMCO Auctions 974 Foreclosed Properties Including Apartments... Worth 111.1 Billion Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) announced on the 11th that it will auction 974 seized properties worth 111.1 billion KRW on Onbid, the online public asset disposal system, from the 14th to the 16th of this month. The auction items include 146 residential buildings such as apartments and houses nationwide.
The auction items were requested for auction by public institutions such as tax offices and local governments to collect delinquent taxes. Among the items for auction this time, 440 are priced at 70% or less of the appraised value.
Careful rights analysis is required when bidding in the auction. Buyers should be cautious as they are responsible for evicting tenants. The auction of the relevant items may be canceled before bidding due to reasons such as tax payment or undeliverable notices.
