Dongjak-gu, Full Effort in Quarantine Activities Following Extension of Social Distancing Level 2.5
Designated Dedicated Workers for Focused Promotion and Guidance on ▲Mandatory Mask Wearing ▲Refraining from Eating in Parks... Continuous Inspection of 6,466 Multi-Use Facilities Including ▲Noraebang ▲Churches ▲Hagwon ▲Restaurants and Cafes
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) is making every effort in quarantine activities such as on-site inspections of multi-use facilities in accordance with the extension of the strengthened social distancing level 2.5 in the metropolitan area.
First, quarantine activities will be strengthened at 70 parks in the area. Since August 30, indoor and outdoor badminton courts and outdoor basketball courts in the parks have been completely closed, and compliance inspections and on-site guidance are being conducted.
Public restrooms, fitness facilities, and children's playground equipment such as combination playground sets and swing handles in the parks have been thoroughly disinfected.
Designated as dedicated workers for COVID-19 quarantine rule promotion and guidance, they are focusing on promoting ▲mandatory mask-wearing ▲refraining from eating food (including delivery food) when using the parks, and banners with quarantine rules have been posted in major parks such as Noryangjin Neighborhood Park.
In addition, inspections of 6,466 multi-use facilities subject to gathering restrictions (prohibitions) under the metropolitan social distancing level 2.5, including ▲karaoke rooms ▲PC rooms ▲indoor sports facilities ▲churches ▲academies ▲reading rooms ▲entertainment bars ▲restaurants ▲cafes, are continuously being conducted.
In particular, from the 7th, on-site inspections are being carried out as franchise-type bakeries and ice cream/bingsu specialty stores are also prohibited from in-store dining and only takeout and delivery are allowed. Administrative measures such as a two-week gathering ban order will be imposed on businesses found violating core quarantine rules.
Furthermore, the district conducts weekly inspections to check compliance with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines at ▲29 call centers and ▲5 door-to-door sales companies in the area.
Meanwhile, due to the occurrence of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Dong community center, resulting in the temporary closure of the community office and multiple staff quarantines, support offices have been designated. The 15 neighborhoods are divided into three zones of five neighborhoods each to prepare for emergencies and minimize inconvenience to residents.
Through this, when the A community office is closed, a dedicated counter will be set up at the A support office to carry out work, and if many employees working in A are self-quarantined, staff will be dispatched from nearby support offices to minimize work gaps.
Also, to conduct rapid epidemiological investigations and disinfection for COVID-19, the health center’s quarantine task force has been expanded from 3 teams (2 people per team) to 4 teams (3 people per team), forming a pool of quarantine task force personnel ready for immediate deployment in case of multiple confirmed cases or similar situations.
