Prudential Foundation Holds Virtual Awards Ceremony for Middle and High School Student Volunteer Competition
The Prudential Social Contribution Foundation announced that it held the 22nd National Middle and High School Student Volunteer Awards Ceremony on the 7th at The-K Hotel in Seoul in collaboration with the Korea Secondary School Principals Association.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] The Prudential Social Contribution Foundation announced that it held the awards ceremony for the 22nd National Middle and High School Student Volunteer Competition on the 7th at The-K Hotel in Seoul, in collaboration with the Korea Secondary School Principals Association.
This year, a total of 712 applications were received, and through a rigorous evaluation process, 224 outstanding cases were selected, including 8 Ministerial Awards, 2 Gold Awards, 30 Silver Awards, 40 Bronze Awards, and 144 Encouragement Awards. Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the event was held online this year.
Recipients of the Minister of Education Award included Kim Dong-yeon (Gyeonggi Yongin Foreign Language High School, 18), Song Da-yeon (Daejeon Yuseong Middle School, 15), and recipients of the Minister of Health and Welfare Award included Park Ji-hyun (Seoul Seonhwa Arts High School, 17), Jeong Ga-young (Gyeonggi Goyang International High School, 18), among others. Awardees received medals, certificates, and scholarships.
