Toss Bank "Hiring Core Banking Experienced Developers"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Toss Innovation Preparation Corporation, which is preparing to establish the third internet-only bank, announced on the 7th that it will publicly recruit experienced developers to build core financial IT systems. Toss Innovation Preparation Corporation, aiming to launch Toss Bank (tentative name) next year, is actively hiring talent to join from the early stages of establishment and create the core systems of the new internet bank.
On the same day, Toss Innovation Preparation Corporation posted a recruitment notice and began public hiring for core banking experienced developers. The positions open are developers in 10 core banking fields including architect, external linkage, customer systems, risk & compliance, credit, deposit, internal credit inquiry (CSS), electronic finance, card, and accounting management. The number of hires is 00. Developers with experience in development and operations at existing financial companies and internet banks are preferred.
Core banking refers to the system that processes all customer transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, foreign exchange, cards, and credit inquiries, and it is the core IT system that manages all information flows of financial companies. Toss Innovation Preparation Corporation’s core banking aims to quickly process the large volume of data flowing into the bank and simultaneously provide stability and flexibility to offer optimized banking products to each individual customer.
The recruitment process will be completed within three weeks from application submission to announcement of successful candidates. Applications will be accepted until the 16th, followed by first and second interviews, with final successful candidates announced before the 29th. Evaluation results for each stage will be individually notified within three days, and the final successful candidates will join in October. New hires will be offered industry-leading compensation, including up to 1.5 times their previous annual salary and stock options worth approximately 100 million KRW.
