Guro-gu 'Post-Corona Era' Policy Idea Contest

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Seong) is soliciting policy ideas to prepare for the post-COVID-19 era.
On the 7th, Guro-gu announced that it will hold a policy idea contest to discover and introduce systems that can improve residents' quality of life after COVID-19.
The contest theme is policies for "A Happier Guro in the Post-COVID-19 Era."
The contest topics include ▲non-face-to-face administrative services and quarantine measures ▲job creation plans to revitalize the local economy ▲solutions to care gaps and plans to promote tourism and the arts ▲and other policy ideas necessary to overcome COVID-19.
Those wishing to apply can fill out the contest proposal application form posted on the district office website by the 18th of this month and submit it via email to the person in charge (les75@guro.go.kr).
Postal submissions to the District Office's Policy Research Team are also accepted, and entries received by 6 p.m. on the deadline day are valid. There are no restrictions on eligibility.
Guro-gu will evaluate the proposals based on feasibility, creativity, and efficiency, selecting eight outstanding proposals. Prizes include 1 million KRW for the Gold Prize (1 person), 500,000 KRW for the Silver Prize (1 person), 300,000 KRW for the Bronze Prize (1 person), and 100,000 KRW each for five Encouragement Awards.
The results of the evaluation will be announced on the district office website in October.
