[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Chae Hyun-il), together with the Yeongdeungpo University Admission Information Center, is conducting the '2021 Yeongdeungpo University Admission Early Application Strategy Briefing' for local high school students and parents entirely online.
The briefing was originally scheduled to be held offline on August 22 at the Yeongdeungpo Art Hall with 100 students and parents gathered in one place, but due to the strengthened social distancing measures amid the resurgence of COVID-19, it was converted to a non-face-to-face online format.
A district official explained that with the implementation of social distancing level 2.5 in the metropolitan area, the decision to proceed online was made inevitably to prioritize preventing the spread of COVID-19 and ensuring the safety of residents.
The district will post the briefing video on the University Admission Information Center website from September 5 to 29, for about 25 days, so that more examinees, teachers, and parents can establish effective early application strategies without being restricted by time and place.
Additionally, on the 2nd, the early application materials booklet was mailed to all briefing applicants to help them understand early application strategies and university admission information.
The briefing will be conducted by Woo Yeon-cheol, director of the Jinhaksa Admission Strategy Research Institute, known as a prestigious figure in university admissions. The content will include ▲mock evaluations and early application strategies ▲fact checks on past early admissions ▲strategies for each early admission type for the 2021 academic year ▲analysis of early admission guidelines by major universities, and will last about two hours.
The briefing is available to any resident interested in the 2021 university admission early application strategies.
For questions related to the briefing or to request one-on-one individual admission counseling, contact the Yeongdeungpo University Admission Information Center.
The Yeongdeungpo University Admission Information Center continuously posts various admission briefing videos and strives to provide systematic and professional admission information through online and one-on-one matching counseling.
Also, to support students facing difficulties preparing for admissions, the center operates a ‘Visiting Admission Consulting’ service by dispatching admission experts to schools, which has received great responses from students and parents.
