Incheon TP Supports Dormitory Rent for SME Workers... 200,000 KRW per Person per Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) announced on the 6th that it will support dormitory rental fees for workers of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing and knowledge service industries.
This project, aimed at helping stabilize the housing and living conditions of SME workers, supports dormitory rental fees of up to 200,000 KRW per month per person for up to five workers per company for one year.
The support targets companies where at least one newly hired employee who has been employed for less than one year resides in a dormitory leased (monthly rent) under the company's name.
Applications for support can be submitted through the business support information provision site BizOK (http://bizok.incheon.go.kr) until the 25th.

An Incheon TP official stated, "This project is intended to encourage the resolution of labor shortages by stabilizing the working environment of SMEs and promoting long-term employment of workers," adding, "We hope this will provide some help to SMEs struggling due to COVID-19."
