A video conference was held at the Nuclear Safety Commission's disaster prevention situation room with five regional offices in Gori, Wolseong, Hanbit, Hanul, Daejeon, and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power.
They received reports on the damage and recovery status caused by Typhoon No. 9 'Maysak' and the inspection results for preparedness against Typhoon No. 10 'Haishen,' and checked the readiness measures.

At the meeting, Chairman Eom Jae-sik of the Nuclear Safety Commission said, "Since the typhoon is expected to make landfall near Tongyeong and pass through the Korean Peninsula, please promptly restore the damage caused by Typhoon Maysak and conduct more thorough on-site safety inspections," and urged, "Maintain the emergency work system until the weather advisory is lifted and promptly report any unusual occurrences."
