[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 3rd that it will provide financial support to customers affected by Typhoon Maysak.
Shinhan Card plans to offer billing deferral and installment repayment support for card payments to members affected by this typhoon. Customers who suffered flood damage can apply regardless of their location.
For affected members, card payments will be billed in a lump sum after 6 months, and if it is difficult to pay at once, they can pay in installments for up to 6 months. If the affected member is overdue, debt collection will be suspended for up to 6 months after application, and installment repayment will also be available.
Members who have suffered damage can receive support by submitting proof documents such as a damage confirmation certificate issued by government offices to Shinhan Card. Consultation and document submission for the support program are available through a dedicated ARS.
