[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hanwha Aerospace announced on the 3rd that it has participated in the ‘Stay Strong’ campaign, which supports overcoming and early ending of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The ‘Stay Strong’ campaign is a relay campaign started last March by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea to spread solidarity messages for overcoming COVID-19 worldwide.
The campaign logo, featuring praying hands and soap bubbles along with the phrase ‘Stay Strong,’ conveys a message of encouragement to overcome COVID-19 through personal hygiene management.
Shin Hyun-woo, CEO of Hanwha Aerospace, said, “I want to send messages of support and gratitude to the medical staff who are struggling on the front lines of quarantine to end COVID-19,” adding, “Hanwha Aerospace will also contribute to this effort.”
Recommended by Lee Hyuk-jin, CEO of Bain & Company, CEO Shin Hyun-woo nominated Jeong Seung-jo, chairman of the Hanmi Alliance Foundation (former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff), Kang Sung-wook, President of GE Korea, and Son Kyung-seok, CEO of partner company Firstec, as the next participants.
