At this conference, Samsung Electronics shared its vision with consumers worldwide to enrich diverse daily lives by connecting individuals and the world in any environment through connectivity that overcomes technological limitations.
Benjamin Braun, Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing at Samsung Electronics Europe, stated, “Samsung Electronics will continuously provide European consumers with products that can be the driving force for a ‘Life Unstoppable’ even amid the COVID-19 situation through bold and innovative technology.”
For the second half of the year targeting the European market, Samsung Electronics introduced key products including the premium projector ‘The Premiere,’ the curved gaming monitor ‘Odyssey G5,’ new refrigerators from the ‘Bespoke’ line and washing machines and dryers equipped with the ‘Grande AI’ function, as well as the latest mobile products and peripherals such as the ‘Galaxy Z Fold2.’
Additionally, to allow European attendees to experience the products as if in real life, the conference utilized the ‘Unreal Gaming Platform,’ used in major games like ‘Fortnite,’ enabling various interactive experiences, drawing attention.

View original image◆A higher level of entertainment experience inside and outside the home= Samsung Electronics, which has introduced various lifestyle TVs for consumers spending more time at home, unveiled the premium projector ‘The Premiere’ for the first time at this conference.
This product offers a cinema-like experience at home with an ultra-large screen and is available in two models expandable up to 120 inches and 130 inches.
In particular, the high-end model adopts a triple laser method, allowing users to enjoy 4K quality identical to that of a TV, and it is the first projector to acquire both HDR10+ and Filmmaker certifications, providing an innovative viewing experience.
‘The Premiere’ will be launched within the year starting from North America, followed by European markets including Germany, France, Italy, and also domestically in Korea.
The outdoor lifestyle TV ‘The Terrace,’ first introduced in the U.S. market in May, was also showcased at this conference to actively target the European market.
‘The Terrace’ features an IP55 waterproof and dustproof rating, brightness up to 2000 nits for optimal picture quality even in daylight, and an ‘AI Control’ function that optimizes screen brightness and sound according to external environments, providing excellent viewing experiences outdoors.
It will be released in three sizes for the European market: 55, 65, and 75 inches.
◆Expansion of premium gaming monitor lineup= Samsung Electronics has received favorable reviews for launching the Odyssey G9 and G7 to provide optimal experiences for gamers in the evolving gaming market, and at this conference, it introduced the new ‘Odyssey G5.’
The ‘Odyssey G5’ comes in two models with curved displays of 27 and 32 inches.
This product supports gaming features that provide a smooth gaming environment, including the world’s largest 1000R curvature, WQHD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync Premium.
Samsung Electronics also introduced numerous products reflecting the vision of its home appliance business, ‘Project PRISM,’ which aims to capture consumers’ diverse lifestyles.
In particular, the customized refrigerator ‘Bespoke’ allows consumers to combine products and colors according to their preferences and living spaces, expected to usher in an era of ‘customized appliances’ in the European market.
Along with this, a new refrigerator model (RB7300T) featuring ‘Space Max’ technology that maximizes internal storage space considering European kitchen environments and a top refrigeration, bottom freezer (BMF) type with a high-efficiency digital inverter compressor to save energy was unveiled.
New washing machines and dryers incorporating the popular ‘Grande AI’ function and the ‘QuickDrive’ technology, which has received positive reviews in Europe for fast washing, were also introduced.
◆Leading connected mobile innovation through building the Galaxy ecosystem= As consumers’ dependence on mobile technology in daily life increases, the role of the Galaxy ecosystem providing optimal connectivity is becoming more important.
Samsung Electronics showcased the next-generation foldable smartphone ‘Galaxy Z Fold2,’ introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event in August, to European customers. The ‘Galaxy Z Fold2,’ featuring evolved foldable technology, is available in two colors, Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze, and offers an intuitive and differentiated mobile experience with a larger 6.2-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch main display.
Samsung Electronics also introduced the new tablet product ‘Galaxy Tab A7’ and the new 5G smartphone ‘Galaxy A42 5G.’
The ‘Galaxy Tab A7’ offers an optimal entertainment experience on the go with a premium metal-finished bezel design, a 10.4-inch screen, quad speakers supporting Dolby Atmos, and a long-lasting battery.
The ‘Galaxy A42 5G’ features a unique quad-camera layout and a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, expected to lead the full-scale popularization of 5G in line with changes in the ‘Next Normal’ era where efficiency and connectivity are emphasized.
Additionally, Samsung Electronics unveiled a new wearable device, the ‘Galaxy Fit2,’ for customers pursuing a healthy lifestyle.
The ‘Galaxy Fit2’ provides essential exercise information such as calories, heart rate, and distance without omission, while also offering advantages such as a lightweight body, sleek design, and long-lasting battery, making it an ideal fitness partner for modern people interested in health management.
