One day ago, the Iksan Police Station in Jeonbuk applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A (56) on charges of assaulting a bus driver (assault on a driver under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes).

[Asia Economy Kim Bong-ju, Intern Reporter] The Iksan Police Station in Jeonbuk announced on the 1st that they have applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A (56) on charges of assaulting a bus driver (assault on a driver under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes).
Mr. A is accused of repeatedly punching Mr. B (61), the bus driver, on a bus stopped near an apartment bus stop in Songhak-dong, Iksan-si, at around 12:45 PM the previous day.
Mr. A was caught in the act and arrested by the police who responded to a passenger's report.
According to the police, Mr. A tried to board the bus but was stopped by Mr. B for not wearing a mask.
Mr. A said, "I will buy a mask at the pharmacy, so please wait," but Mr. B drove the bus and left as it was.
Angered by this, Mr. A took a taxi to chase after the bus and boarded Mr. B's bus at the next stop, committing the assault.
