[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] LS Group announced on the 1st that it has launched the group's official YouTube channel, ‘LS TV,’ to communicate more actively with employees, customers, and readers through online and social network services (SNS) in the Ontact (online + face-to-face) era.
LS plans to use LS TV to communicate more closely with the MZ generation (a term collectively referring to Millennials and Generation Z, born between 1980 and the early 2000s), who are familiar with video content.
LS TV will mainly cover content under themes such as ‘Business & Technology,’ ‘Recruitment & Company Life,’ and ‘University Student Reporters (interests of people in their 20s)’ in an easy and entertaining way, under the concept of ‘We tell you anything about LS!’
Currently, about 20 related videos are posted on the LS TV YouTube channel. Among them, the content titled ‘There is a treasure ship sending electricity under the sea of Jeju,’ introducing LS Cable & System’s submarine cable, has surpassed 13,000 views and is attracting readers’ attention.
This month, in line with the job application season, content such as ‘AI Competency Test Passing Tips’ and ‘LS Recruitment Officer Talk Concert’ will also be introduced.
Additionally, LS is holding an event to celebrate the opening of the LS TV YouTube channel until the 8th of this month. Those who subscribe to the LS TV YouTube channel and leave a participation completion message and supportive comment on the event video will be entered into a draw to win department store gift certificates (1 person), Pocket Photo printers (2 people), and coffee exchange coupons (100 people).
An LS official said, “Since LS is a typical manufacturing and B2B (business-to-business) company, there are not many touchpoints with the general public, but through LS TV, we will express the group affiliates’ world-class technology and flexible corporate culture in an easy and fun way,” adding, “We will produce more diverse and entertaining content to make it a brand channel that communicates more closely with the public.”
