According to Hong Kong media on the 31st, the Hong Kong education authorities announced that first and fifth to sixth graders in elementary school, first and fifth to sixth graders in secondary school, and third-year kindergarten students will resume in-person classes from September 23, while other grades will resume from September 29. However, for the time being, in-person classes will only be held in the morning, and students will return home for lunch.
Hong Kong banned all in-person classes at schools starting from the 13th of last month, when the summer semester began, due to the resurgence of COVID-19. However, as the daily number of new confirmed cases recently dropped to the range of 10 to 20, in-person classes will be allowed.
