According to Samsung Electronics on the 31st, an employee working at a cafe within the Umyeon campus in Seocho-gu, Seoul, tested positive for COVID-19 on the same day, leading to the partial closure of the building.
It is reported that the confirmed case wore a mask throughout their work, so there were no direct contacts within the campus.
A Samsung Electronics official stated, "For the safety of employees, Buildings D and E will be closed until today and then disinfected."
