Sangju City to Select and Announce 'Local Food' Self-Certification Brand in September
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] On the 27th, Sangju City in Gyeongbuk held the 2nd interim report meeting for the 'Local Food Self-Certification Brand Development Project' at the city hall small conference room, attended by 15 people including local food operation groups and Nonghyup officials.
The report meeting was conducted in a format reflecting the results of a survey of public officials and expert consulting based on the brand candidate proposals derived since the project's commencement.
Sangju City plans to incorporate the opinions from the report meeting into the naming (creating a trademark name) and certification mark design, and in September, conduct a preference survey targeting citizens and direct store users to finally select the Sangju Local Food Self-Certification Brand. The local food self-certification brand will be used for regional agricultural, livestock, and processed products that meet the standards certified by the mayor of Sangju City following the introduction of the Sangju Local Food Self-Certification System.
