Honam University Signs Industry-Academia Agreement to Discover and Nurture K-Culture Startup Talent
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Honam University Startup Incubation Center (Director Kim Seongsu) announced on the 27th that it held an industry-academia cooperation agreement ceremony on the 26th with Wood & Home CA Co., Ltd. and J Road Entertainment Co., Ltd. to discover and nurture K-Culture startup talents in the region, and agreed to actively cooperate in supporting graduates or prospective majors to enter the K-Culture industry sector.
The agreement ceremony was attended by Wood & Home CEO Jeong Yongwoo, J Road Entertainment CEO Oh Jangjun, Kim Seongsu, Director of the Startup Incubation Center, Choi Woosung, Head of the Employment and Startup Support Group, and a total of 10 people.
At this ceremony, five business agreements were signed to establish a discovery and nurturing system for startup companies to grow Honam University talents into global K-Culture-related businesspeople or experts by maximizing the use of J Road Entertainment’s Hallyu entertainment program “K-Pop Global League,” produced annually at Wood & Home CA’s complex cultural space “Goheung Art Square.”
