Changwon City Launches 'i Happiness Innovation Project' to Address Child Abuse
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Changwon City in Gyeongnam is set to actively promote the ‘2020 i(i) Happiness Innovation Project’ aimed at eradicating child abuse.
The city has decided to hold the ‘1st Citizen Sympathy Good Ideas Contest for Zero Child Abuse’ from the 15th to the 29th of next month to build consensus with citizens in line with the purpose of the i(i) Happiness Innovation Project.
The contest accepts submissions on any topic related to child abuse, including sharing experiences and cases, proposing alternatives, and work innovation.
The contest is divided into three categories: ▲Parents, grandparents, and childcare experience category ▲Daycare center childcare staff category ▲Children and youth category.
Each category’s grand prize winner will receive 1 million KRW, excellence prize winner 500,000 KRW, and two encouragement prize winners 300,000 KRW each, all in Changwon Love Gift Certificates. Additionally, winners in the childcare staff category will receive special benefits such as extra points when selecting consignment companies for national and public daycare centers.
