Through this agreement, the two institutions have agreed to strengthen various collaborations for joint research and talent development in key industries such as nuclear power.
The College of Engineering at Pukyong National University, which comprises 26 departments and 21 engineering research institutes, and the Korea Nuclear Industry Technology Association, an industrial technology research association in the nuclear field, have joined hands to advance the nuclear sector.
The two organizations plan to establish a mutual cooperation system by expanding exchanges in areas such as joint research and development related to nuclear power plant decommissioning, safety, and operation, as well as education and talent cultivation.
Additionally, they will work together to participate jointly in nuclear-related research and development projects and strive to expand research and development and the training of specialized personnel in the nuclear field.
