View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) has published a storytelling-style district promotion booklet titled "Somewhat Warm Days in Gwangjin."
This booklet was prepared to create a new type of promotional material that residents can easily and comfortably read, moving away from the conventional rigid policy delivery format.
The district set the subtitle as "Living in Gwangjin, a city where small joys continue and full of diverse stories," and included various content closely related to residents' daily lives. It features emotional photos and images to enhance readability and immersion.
Among the five parts, the first part, "Their Ordinary Days," aims to build empathy with residents through stories of ordinary people around us. Each story is connected to district policies such as the safety car seat rental project and the Gwangjin-type happiness job project, highlighting the warm and livable image of Gwangjin.
The following part, "Finding Hidden Memories," reveals the hidden stories of lesser-known local attractions such as Dojeonggung Gyeongwondang and Children's Grand Park Kkum Maru, stimulating interest.
"People of Gwangjin" includes essays contributed by three notable figures with deep ties to Gwangjin-gu, providing profound and rich reading material.
"A Wonderful Day" introduces unique places worth visiting at least once, such as Achasan Trail, Common Ground, and Gwangjin Supnaru, drawing attention with keywords.
Finally, "Discoveries in Life" showcases newly established living SOC facilities during the 7th local government term, including Junggok-dong Jungnangcheon Water Playground, Jayang Cultural and Sports Center, Talking Shade Shelter, and Fine Dust Traffic Light.
The promotional booklet is available at major multi-use facilities in the area, including community service centers, for easy access by residents, and can also be viewed on the Gwangjin-gu Office website (Gwangjin Introduction - District Promotion - Gwangjin e-book).
