[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), which current first-year high school students will take, is scheduled for November 17, 2022.
The Ministry of Education announced the basic plan for the 2023 CSAT on the 26th.
For the CSAT of that year, Korean and Mathematics will have a common + elective subject structure, and for Social Studies and Science Inquiry, students can choose up to two subjects from 17 subjects without division by track. The system changed to include absolute evaluation for the second foreign language and Chinese characters.

Scores will be notified on December 9, 2022. The related implementation basic plan is expected to be announced in March 2022.
