[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] Asiana Airlines and HDC Hyundai Development showed an upward trend on the 26th ahead of the final negotiation for their merger and acquisition (M&A).
As of 10 a.m. that day, Asiana Airlines recorded 4.86% (200 KRW) increase from the previous close, reaching 4,315 KRW. At the same time, HDC Hyundai Development rose 3.38% (700 KRW) to 21,400 KRW.
It is reported that Lee Dong-gul, chairman of the Korea Development Bank, and Chung Mong-gyu, chairman of the HDC Group, will hold their third meeting in Seoul that day.
