Hyundai Motor Unveils Teaser Image of 'The New Kona'... Launching in October
Strengthening Future-Oriented and Progressive Image... N-Line Also Added
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Hyundai Motor Company unveiled teaser images of the enhanced Kona model, 'The New Kona,' on the 26th. The new Kona, scheduled for release in October, is based on the first-generation model introduced in 2017 and is said to feature optimized attributes for a compact sport utility vehicle (SUV).
The New Kona completes an iconic design through innovative improvements. In particular, its futuristic and progressive image has been strengthened. The front end emphasizes a wider proportion than before. Between the voluminous hood and the slim grille lies a sharp edge inspired by a shark's nose. Additionally, thin and refined daytime running lights (DRL) add a sophisticated touch.
Furthermore, the skid plate, expressing a forward-looking appearance, is harmoniously connected to the front bumper, enhancing the design's completeness.
The new model adds an 'N Line' that resembles the design and driving feel of the high-performance N brand. The New Kona N Line adopts an exclusive design emphasizing aerodynamic technology, inheriting and advancing its unique sporty image.
