[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eunhee Jo) is recruiting trainees for the 'Blockchain Leading Talent Training Course' until September 6 to cultivate professional personnel who can be immediately deployed in the blockchain market.
This training course is an advanced blockchain education program conducted over two months from September 14 to November 13, comprehensively composed of theory and practice including understanding blockchain, cryptography, and basic programming.
To nurture professionals equipped with capabilities as blockchain developers, top experts from academia and industry have been invited as instructors to further enhance the program's quality.
Additionally, the district started blockchain introductory education in 2019, the first among local governments, and has produced a total of 72 graduates over three sessions so far, with 22 of them selected as corporate interns.
Building on last year's achievements, an advanced blockchain education course has been established, and employment linkage support for graduates will be further expanded. To this end, the district has signed employment agreements with 32 companies in the blockchain field, with 59 planned hires.
The number of recruits is 30, and applicants must be 18 years or older, seeking employment or entrepreneurship, or prospective graduates (Seocho-gu residents are given preference). Employment linkage support will be actively provided to those who complete the course.
Applications can be submitted by filling out the participation application form on the Korea Blockchain Research and Education Institute website.
For detailed inquiries, contact the Seocho-gu Office Job Division or the Korea Blockchain Research and Education Institute.
