Dongshin University to Conduct Second Semester Classes Online Until the 18th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Dongshin University announced on the 25th that the second semester classes of the 2020 academic year, starting from the 1st of next month, will be conducted online and non-face-to-face until the 18th of the same month.
This measure is in response to the escalation to social distancing level 2 due to the spread of COVID-19.
For practical subjects, limited face-to-face classes will be conducted while strictly adhering to quarantine guidelines such as minimum participant numbers, wearing masks, and temperature checks.
Previously, Dongshin University established guidelines for operating face-to-face and non-face-to-face classes according to the social distancing levels for the second semester.
At level 1, both non-face-to-face and face-to-face classes will be conducted concurrently, but if the daily confirmed cases are less than 20, the number of face-to-face students per course is limited to 30 or fewer, and if between 20 and 50, limited to 20 or fewer per course.
At level 2, non-face-to-face classes are the principle, but limited face-to-face classes are allowed.
If escalated to level 3, all classes will be conducted non-face-to-face.

Dongshin University plans to provide guidelines for class operations according to changes in the COVID-19 situation via the school website and push notifications through the Dongshin University official app.
