Samsung Electronics Reports Another COVID-19 Case at Giheung Campus

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Another case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at Samsung Electronics Giheung Campus.
According to Samsung Electronics and industry sources on the 25th, Employee A, who works on the first floor of the LED Technology Building in the K1 area of Samsung Electronics Giheung Campus, tested positive for COVID-19 that morning. Employee A went to work the previous day but felt a slight fever and returned home, then underwent a COVID-19 test.
Samsung Electronics closed the workspace and movement paths in the Technology Building where the confirmed case worked and conducted emergency disinfection measures. They also identified contacts and instructed them to self-isolate at home.

Previously, a COVID-19 case was confirmed on the 21st of this month in the LED Technology Building at Samsung Electronics Giheung Campus. Employee A was reportedly not classified as a close contact of the previous confirmed case.
