[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] In Gwangju Metropolitan City, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) increased by 5 overnight, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in one day to 17.
According to Gwangju City on the 23rd, confirmed cases numbered 275 to 279 were newly registered late the previous afternoon.
Case 275 is related to a cluster infection at entertainment facilities in the Sangmu district, case 276 is related to study materials, cases 277 to 278 are overseas entrants, and case 279 is a contact of case 259 with an unknown infection route.
Including the previously announced 12 cases, the total number of confirmed cases in one day increased to 17.
