12 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gwangju in One Day Including 'Haksubji·Gwanghwamun Rally'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] A total of 12 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Gwangju in one day on the 22nd.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City, 5 cases were confirmed in the morning and 7 additional cases in the afternoon.
Gwangju case number 268, residing in Nongsong-dong, Seo-gu, is currently under investigation for the infection route.
Cases 269 to 274 in Gwangju are residents of Nongsong-dong and Yang-dong in Seo-gu, Wolsan-dong in Nam-gu, and Munheung-dong in Buk-gu, and are related to the Gwanghwamun rally.
Earlier that morning, cases 263 to 266 in Gwangju were confirmed as related to study materials and reside in Songjeong-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Pungam-dong, Geumho-dong, and Ssangchon-dong in Seo-gu.
Case 267 in Gwangju, residing in Sochon-dong, Gwangsan-gu, is under investigation as related to the Gwanghwamun rally.
Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Gwangju area to date is 274.
