[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 21st that it recently launched a 'KakaoTalk Channel' and is holding a participation event related to adding the channel until the 30th.
Following the existing Dong-gu SNS channels such as Facebook, Naver Blog, Instagram, and YouTube, Dong-gu newly opened a 'KakaoTalk Channel' to deliver various district news, including district policies and essential benefits for residents, more quickly and accurately.
The Dong-gu KakaoTalk Channel can be accessed without separate membership registration by simply searching for 'Gwangju Donggu Office' in the KakaoTalk search bar and adding it. Users can immediately check real-time COVID-19 status, useful district news, and information about overall district affairs.
Dong-gu is conducting a 'KakaoTalk Channel Add' event to promote channel addition until the 30th.
To participate, users need to add the Dong-gu 'KakaoTalk Channel' and send a verification shot (screenshot) attached in the channel chat room. One hundred people will be randomly selected to receive an iced coffee gifticon.
