This program allows students at schools without native English assistant teachers to engage in English activities remotely via video with native English assistant teachers working at other schools, using after-school and vacation time.
Classes are conducted using webcams and microphones through Zoom or Skype, providing English public education to students who cannot meet native speakers due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
A total of 36 schools in the province were selected through a public contest in May, with about 10 students from each school participating and receiving more than 20 classes.
The content proceeds in the order of the native teacher's prior topic guidance, students' preparation process, individual presentations during the video class, and free talking.
