Changwon National University Department of Nursing, COVID-19 Crisis Response Simulation Training
Strengthening the Capacity of Infectious Disease Medical Personnel at 9 Public Medical Institutions in Gyeongnam Province
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Changwon National University announced on the 21st that it operated the 'COVID-19 Crisis Response Simulation Training Program,' jointly hosted by the Department of Nursing, the Gyeongnam Infectious Disease Management Support Group, and the Public Health Medical Support Group.
The COVID-19 crisis response capacity enhancement simulation training program was conducted over two days starting from the 18th at the Changwon National University Nursing Education Simulation Center.
This training was attended by 22 infectious disease medical personnel from a total of nine public medical institutions in Gyeongnam Province, and included simulation training on the management and transfer of confirmed COVID-19 patients.

Yoon-gu Noh, head of the Department of Nursing at Changwon National University, emphasized, "This simulation training will serve as a successful cooperation model between the university and local governments," adding, "We hope the simulation training program will establish itself as a new paradigm for strengthening the capabilities of community health care personnel and will spread even further."
