[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] The diagnosis for three individuals from the Gwangju area who tested positive for COVID-19 after visiting Jeonnam Naju Jungheung Gold Spa & Resort has been put on hold.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 21st, three people who visited Jungheung Gold Spa initially tested positive at the first private entrusted institution, but tested negative in the second test conducted by the Gwangju Health and Environment Research Institute, leading to a hold on the diagnosis while a third test is being conducted.
Previously, they were classified as confirmed cases number 249 to 251 following a positive diagnosis the day before.
The health authorities plan to make a final decision on their confirmed status after re-examination by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
Cases 249 and 250 are family members: a man in his 40s and a boy under 10 years old living in an apartment in Yangsan-dong, Buk-gu.
Case 251 is a woman in her 20s living in an apartment in Yongbong-dong, Buk-gu.
