View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] On the 20th, Kia Motors announced on the 21st that it presented a 4th generation Carnival to champion So-yeon Yu at Kia Motors’ Apgujeong headquarters ‘BEAT360’ in celebration of the ‘34th Korea Women's Open Golf Championship’.
So-yeon Yu secured her fifth national title by holding off a persistent chase by Hyo-joo Kim, who finished as runner-up by one stroke in the final round of the ‘34th Korea Women's Open Golf Championship’ held from June 18 to 21 at Bears Best Cheongna Golf Club in Incheon.
At the award ceremony, So-yeon Yu said, “The excitement of winning the long-awaited Korean national title trophy still lingers,” adding, “I am delighted not only to win my fifth national title at the Korea Women's Open but also to receive a vehicle due to my injury.”
The 4th generation Carnival that So-yeon Yu received is a new model introduced by Kia Motors after six years, which drew explosive interest by surpassing 32,000 pre-orders within just 14 days of the pre-order period.
