Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group Conducts 'Customized Startup Specialized Education for People with Disabilities'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group announced on the 20th that it conducted the ‘2020 Customized Startup Specialized Education for the Disabled,’ a tailored drone startup education program for people with disabilities, on the 18th.
Hosted by the Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group and organized by the (Foundation) Comprehensive Support Center for Disabled Enterprises under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the ‘2020 Customized Startup Specialized Education for the Disabled’ is an educational program utilizing advanced drone software technology.
This program was prepared to lead startups specialized in professional technical fields by leveraging the concentration strengths of people with disabilities.
The education consists of specialized theoretical education, startup specialized education, mentoring, and practical drone training courses.
Customized lectures involving startup experts, software experts, and drone professional instructors will continue until the end of this year, with a total of 50 trainees participating, including 20 in the startup linkage support course and 30 in the aerial photography training course.
Through this education, students can obtain national certifications related to drones.

Professor in charge Kim Youngshim said, “Drone startup education, a promising industry in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, will play a significant role in providing new achievements and establishing self-esteem for people with disabilities,” adding, “We will continue to strive to conduct specialized education in various fields.”
