Jeongeup-si Promotes Free Enrollment Support Project for 'Ten Thousand Won Happiness Insurance'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk Province announced on the 18th that it will promote the province's first free subscription support project for the '10,000 Won Happiness Insurance' to support the economic stability of neighbors marginalized by disasters.
'10,000 Won Happiness Insurance' is a public-private partnership project promoted through an agreement between Jeongeup City, Jeongeup Post Office, Jeonbuk Community Chest of Korea, and Jeongeup Volunteer Center.
This insurance provides coverage and support for hospitalization fees, surgery fees, and consolation money in case of death, surgery, or hospitalization due to disasters, helping in sudden crisis situations.
The city will support the 10,000 won subscription fee for the post office's '10,000 Won Happiness Insurance' for all low-income groups who have difficulty subscribing due to economic reasons until the 21st. After that, the individual must bear the cost.
Applicants can apply by visiting Jeongeup Post Office or local post offices.
