Gyeonggi-do COVID-19 Cases Surpass 2,000... 2,041 Confirmed as of 17th

Gyeonggi-do announced on the 18th that the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the province exceeded 2,000 for the first time, reaching 2,041, as 53 new COVID-19 cases were reported on the 17th.
Among the 53 new confirmed cases on the 17th, more than half, 28 cases, were related to the Seoul Sarang Jeil Church. This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to Sarang Jeil Church in Gyeonggi-do to 119.
The number of confirmed cases related to Woori Jeil Church also increased by one on the 17th, totaling 90 cases.

Confirmed cases with unknown infection routes accounted for 14 people (26.4%) across seven areas in the province, including Goyang (4), Seongnam (2), and Guri (2).
