Seung-ro Lee, Seongbuk-gu Mayor, "Urgently Tracking Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon's Whereabouts"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Jeon Gwang-hoon, the senior pastor of Sarang Jeil Church, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, where the church is located, has launched an urgent search to locate Pastor Jeon.
Lee Seung-ro, head of Seongbuk-gu Office, announced on the afternoon of the 17th via his Facebook and other channels that they are "urgently trying to locate Pastor Jeon following his positive diagnosis."
The district chief added that the "cohabiting family members of Pastor Jeon have undergone diagnostic testing and are in self-quarantine," and that "all attendees and staff of Sarang Jeil Church have been tested for COVID-19 and placed under self-quarantine."
Along with this, he also disclosed the dates of confirmation, infection routes, and movement paths of confirmed cases in Seongbuk-gu who visited Sarang Jeil Church or are presumed to have been infected in connection with it.
