[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] The International Management Institute affiliated with the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) announced on the 16th that the "82nd FKI CEO Program" will commence on the 11th of next month.
The FKI explained that the CEO program, which first started in 1980 as the first of its kind in the economic sector, has continued for over 40 years and has produced more than 4,000 alumni, making it the premier management education and networking program.
This 82nd CEO program will focus on changes in the business environment and responses due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), as well as crisis management. To reflect the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 era, the education program was planned based on survey results regarding educational needs from alumni of the advanced course.
Along with solutions for adapting to the new era such as digital transformation to overcome the COVID-19 era, responses to changes in the working environment, smart offices, and untact marketing, the program will also present business alternatives that could become new opportunities.
The program will also include explanations of government tax support and subsidies for small and medium-sized enterprise CEOs to overcome COVID-19, enabling practical support for many SMEs facing difficulties.
Kim Jutae, Secretary General of the FKI International Management Institute, said, “This education focuses on presenting practical alternatives and new opportunities to CEOs of companies struggling due to COVID-19.”
